The Jhol Mo:Mo

The Jhol Mo:Mo

Soft dumplings swimming in a warm, spiced sesame-tomato broth. People drive across the Bay Area for these.

Vegetarian Nepal

Plant-based cooking is deep in Nepalese tradition. Jackfruit jhol, veg thupka, aloo sadeko — none of it is an afterthought.
Kathmandu Chiya

Kathmandu Chiya

#1 Chai in the SF Bay Area. Simmered slow with milk, whole spices, and a whole lot of care — the way it's done back home. One sip and you'll get the fuss.

We had Jhol veg and chicken momo, really really tasty. Haven’t had such jhol momo yet. We were so excited to try that we forgot to click picture but I made sure get the picture of hakka noddles. Really fresh and tasty.

Please have tea and honey chilli potato. You will not regret it. The food overall is authentic Nepali or Indian Chinese, whatever you wanna call it, but it’s so good.

Perfect place to dine with an authentic Nepali taste. My 7-year-old daughter had the Wai Wai Jhol and loved it so much—she even asked me to leave this review! That says it all. Definitely going back again.

Incredible food. The goat curry was life changing. I've never had such a good momo sauce. The vibes are chill, cozy, homey. Very good service. If you are comparing to nearby Everest Cuisine (on concourse), Kathmandu is 100x better

My current fav for Nepalese cuisine. Awesome Momo, chow Mein and a very tasty Chai.. (chiya they say) Must try this place!
